Being a victim of bullying can have severe consequences for mental health, leading to an increased risk of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and even suicidal thoughts. Bullying can also contribute to the development of mental health disorders in the long term.

It is crucial to involve trusted adults and authorities to address the bullying effectively.

Mision Despegue helps parents identify signs that their loved one is being a victim of bullying. It also helps parents address their concerns to the proper person or institution, connect the family and the victim with an antibullying program, and, if necessary, provide counseling or help them engage in other healthy activities, whichever works best with the proper follow-up.
