Ana Duin

Born in Hidalgo, Mexico, Ana Duin made a transformative move to the United Ana Duin, a dedicated leader and entrepreneur, has deep roots in the Latino community. Born in Hidalgo, Mexico, she moved to the United States in 1988, where she embarked on her career in radio. Her journey, starting as a receptionist and swiftly advancing to become a sales manager, is a testament to her determination and talent. This experience laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey, inspiring many along the way.

Currently, Ana is the co-owner of La Mega KC Spanish Radio, a vital information hub for the Latino community in the Greater Kansas City area. Her commitment to serving this community extends beyond her business; she actively participates in several local organizations. Ana serves on the boards of the Executive Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, the Kansas City Zoo, Toolbox KC,  Fix’em KC, and Café con empresarias Latinas. In these roles, she champions initiatives that support and uplift the Latino population, showcasing her dedication and leadership.

Throughout her career, Ana has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field. In 2017, she received the New Small Business of the Year award from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Her dedication to humanitarian efforts earned her the Humanitarian of the Year award in 2022 and the Outstanding Faith-Based Organization Community Partner award in 2023. In 2024, she was honored with the Visionary of the Year Everyday Hero award from Hope House.

Outside of her professional life, Ana is a loving wife to Yvan, with whom she has been married for 23 years. They are proud parents of three daughters. Their home is a reflection of their love for family and animals, as they share it with their rescued friends: four horses, four dogs, and three cats.
